I failed in managing work time last semester, so I decide to make up my mind to manage time correctly this year. Undoubtedly, wasting time can do nothing meaningful but end up in a terrible result. Therefore, I prefer being benefitted by using time well than being highly embarrassed.
I spent much time on surfing on the internet. When I was on the Internet, I usually wasted my time on some trifles such as checking emails or reading e-paper. In addition to those, to be frank, watching PPS TV was one of my most favorite activities; however, when the plot was tense, I cannot help myself but continue to watch until the film was over. Besides, using Facebook to play flash games did make me pass time unconsciously but still did nothing. Nonetheless, I could do nothing when chatting on MSN. Chatting on MSN was my Achilles’ heel. I was addicted to chatting on MSN; therefore, I was always unaware that the time slipped like a thief that escaped without a noise. Therefore, spending too much time on the Internet made me get horrible grades last semester and lose the ability in controlling myself.
In order to use time efficiently, I find two solutions to get rid of the Internet. First, go to M’cDonald to do assignments. In M’cDonald, I am unable to surf on the Internet; thus, I can concentrate on the work I should finish. The next way is chatting with my classmates as much as possible when I am in the school. Talking to classmates face to face can reduce the sense of loneliness; thus, I will want to say nothing anymore on MSN after school.
After finding my new semester resolutions and finding the solutions, I think it is time to start this new plan. If I could obey what I type above, I believe I can fulfill what I want ─ managing time efficiently.
